Borough Recreation sponsors sports clinic

MILFORD — The first annual “Summer Sports Clinic at the Park.” is being by Milford Borough Recreation. The clinic runs from July 28 thru Aug. 22 at the Milford Ball Field, which is located at the corner of Third & East Catherine Streets. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All children, age six and up are welcome to attend. Children six to nine years of age must be accompanied by an adult or provide contact information with Recreation Director. Activites will include: basketball, soccer, football, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, kickball, dodgeball, wiffleball, and various field games. The skate park will also be open. Different activities will be held each hour, please call to obtain a schedule. Volunteers are welcome to assist with clinics but must call in advance to make arrangements. Rain days will be utilized for indoor games and activities. Clinics are run by Brandon Hill, a graduate of Marywood University, M.Ed. in Physical Education.
