SHOHOLA — An enthusiastic group of some 30 teen and adult volunteers brought their energy and good will to the Pike County Humane Society shelter in Shohola on Saturday, September 20th, choosing the PCHS for their personal United Way “Day of Caring” charitable organization activity. While painting and doggie baths, grounds, Kitty Kottage and kennel tidy-up activities were the order of the day, there was also ample time to cuddle and play with the kitties and cats, puppies and dogs, bunnies, gerbils, and ferrets that are waiting at the shelter to find their new homes.
