Chamber card exchange slated
MILFORD Local business owners who are interested in growing their businesses are encouraged to attend the premiere networking event of the summer. Volunteers from the Business Card Exchange committee of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce scheduled a Business Card Exchange for Thursday, July 31. The event is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Muir House, 102 Route 2001 in Milford. The Muir House is the event sponsor. More than 100 members of the Chamber are expected to network at the event. Businesses that are not members of the Chamber are invited to attend and network with members. Members are encouraged to bring a new business or friend. Networking is one of many Chamber membership benefits that can help a business grow. “Business card exchanges are a tremendous way to meet new clients,” stated Scott J. Weiland, executive director of the Chamber. “We are pleased that we are able to organize an event where local businesses can thrive by doing business with each other.” Complimentary beer, wine, and soda will be available, as well as complimentary hors d’oeuvres and light fare. The event is free to attend for members and is $5 a person for non-members. To register for the card exchange and other upcoming Chamber events please contact Lee Ann Camarero at 570-296-8700 or info@pikechamber.com. The deadline for registration is Friday, July 25.
