Chambers partner for holiday business card exchange
PORT JERVIS, N.Y. Local business owners who are interested in growing their businesses are encouraged to attend the premiere networking event of the holiday season of the year. Volunteers from the Ambassador’s and Women in Business committee’s of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce have scheduled a Business Card Exchange on Wednesday, Dec. 17,. The event is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Erie Hotel, 1 Jersey Avenue in Port Jervis N.Y. The Erie Hotel is the event sponsor. More than 100 members of the Pike County Chamber and the Tri State Chamber are expected to network at the event. Businesses that are not members of the Chambers are invited to attend and network with members. Members are encouraged to bring a new business or friend. Networking is one of many Chamber membership benefits that can help a business grow. “Business card exchanges are a tremendous way to meet new clients,” stated Scott J. Weiland, executive director of the Pike Chamber. “We are pleased that we are able to organize an event where local businesses can thrive by doing business with each other.” The event will feature music, refreshments, and a cash bar.
