Chant sponsors Nature's Keepers'
WESTFALL Davis Chant, founder of Chant Realtors and chairman of the board, recently presented six copies of the documentary film “Nature’s Keepers” to Delaware Valley School District Superintendent Dr. Candis Finan. The film is being distributed for viewing by district students. “Nature’s Keepers” details Pike County’s dedication to conservation and land stewardship. The documentary was produced and filmed entirely in Pike County. Production of the film was made possible in part because of Davis R. Chant Realtors, one of two main sponsors, and the support of other local businesses. The phenomenal growth rate and long history of environmental conservation in Pike County could make for a potential battleground between those who wish to preserve nature and those who want to develop the land for commercial use. Yet, the film explores how conservationists, landowners and builders gather together to work out their differences and combine efforts for the success and future of Pike County. Due to Chant Realtors’ major sponsorship and continued dedication to the community, local schools and organizations are getting the chance to own “Nature’s Keepers.” Chant has also donated copies of “Nature’s Keepers” to Superintendent Michael Silsby for the students of the Lake Wallenpaupack School District. By providing valuable information, the realty firm is working to foster a deeper understanding of conservation issues to students and the people that live and work in Pike County and surrounding areas. Chant is also delighted and proud to have their sponsored film be shown nationally on public television. Viewers from around the country will be able to learn about the pioneering conservatory efforts taking place to preserve the natural beauty that Pike County provides.
