MILFORD n Cub Scouting is for boys who are in the 1st through 5th grades. Boys can join at any time during the year as long as they have completed Kindergarten. Milford Cub Scout Pack #71 is beginning its Spring Recruitment for scouts and den leaders. Scouting develops strong values such as citizenship, compassion, cooperation, courage, faith, health & fitness, honesty, perseverance, positive attitude, resourcefulness, respect, and responsibility. Scouting also teaches outdoor skills, first aid, and many other life skills that will take the boys into adulthood. Each scouting activity has the basic goal of building character. To find out more about Cub Scouting and Milford Cub Scout Pack #71, you are invited to a special “Pack Night”, geared toward recruiting new scouts and den leaders, on Tuesday, May 22 at 7 pm at the Milford First Presbyterian Church.
