MILFORD — Safe Haven, Inc. of Pike County is once again selling beautiful, affordable geraniums just in time for Mother’s Day. The proceeds of this sale will go directly to support our emergency shelter which provides victims of domestic violence with a safe and secure haven during emergency crisis situations. The geraniums will arrive just before Mother’s Day and will be available for pick up at the Safe Haven offices located at 500 West Harford Street, in Milford. When available, orders of 50 plants or more will be delivered by volunteers. Crisis intervention services are free of charge to all clients and as such, the geranium sale is one of our most vital fundraising activities of the year. This is an opportunity for everyone to not only purchase flowers for themselves, their friends, and their families, but to support a great cause at the same time. Safe Haven provides free and confidential services to victims of domestic violence and sexual violence in Pike County, including temporary emergency shelter, a 24-hour hotline, justice system advocacy, counseling, support groups, agency services for incarcerated clients, and prevention education programs. If someone you know is being hurt, call 570-296-2827. To place your order of either White, Salmon, or Red Geraniums for only $3.50 each or 3 for $10, please call 570-296-2827 and place your order no later than May 1.
