Correction

In the Dec. 21 edition, we reported an inaccurate spending increase comparing the 2007 and 2008 Dingman Township budgets. The overall budget for 2007 was $3,123,630 and the overall budget for 2008 is $3,203,700. The correct increase is $80,070. As reported earlier, the increase it will prompt in the average township tax bill is about $17, or about 10 percent. New spending reflects increases in wages, medical insurance, and other cost items.
