Developer must ensure fire safety

Milford — On March 19, Milford Township Supervisors directed developer Dominic Bradlee to complete fire safety, fencing and school bus stop planning before certificates of occupancy are issued for his 70-lot, Milford Highlands project. The supervisors has allowed the use of a model home as a sales office after an in-ground, 8,000 fire suppression water tank is installed. Before residents’ homes are occupied, a 20,000 gallon tank must be installed, and fencing at a soil borrow area. A plan for school bus stops also must be approved. A second 20,000 gallon tank is required after half the lots are occupied.
