Ding-Del math team squares off

The Dingman-Delaware MathCounts Team took first place at the regional competition in February at the Penn State Worthington Campus in Scranton. Anthony Handwerker finished first among all the competitors and second place in the final countdown round. Teammate Krystina Busacco placed sixth overall in the competition. This is the third time in the last four years that the team has finished first. The team finished first out of eight other northeast PA teams to advance to the state competition, which were held in Harrisburg on March 20.
