MILFORD On July 3, Joseph Meyers , 20 of Newfoundland, who earlier entered a guilty plea, for a June, 2007 charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana in Greene, was fined $500 plus court costs and lost his license for six months. On July 10, defendants who earlier entered guilty pleas and were sentenced included: Walter Haas, 57, of Shohola, for Dec. 2007 charges including driving under the influence in Shohola, was fined $3,500, lost his license for 18 months, and ws sentenced to serve one year and 90 days to five years in the Pike County Jail. Derek Donald, 20, of Bushkill, for July 2006 charges of receiving stolen property in Lehman, was fined $500 and sentenced to one year of probation consecutive to an earlier sentencing. Tamara Fletcher, 37, of Honesdale, for July, Sept, Oct. and Dec. 2007 charges including two counts of driving under the influence and possession of controlled substances in Palmyra and Blooming Grove, was fined $7,200, lost her license for three years, and was sentenced to serve 2.5 to 12 years in state prison. Darren Martin, 28, of Milford, for Jan. 2004 charges including driving under the influence in Westfall, was fined $2,025, lost his license for one year, was ordered to make restitution, and was sentenced to serve three to nine months in the Pike County Jail. Anthony Montaperto, 23, of Milford, for a Sept. 2007 charge of robbery in Delaware, was fined $800, and sentenced to serve 44 months to eight years in state prison. Shaun Hance, 21, of Marshalls Creek, for a Jan. 2008 charge of disorderly conduct in Lehman, was fined $300, and sentenced to serve seven days to six months in the Pike County Jail. Jason Noble, 19, of Bushkill, for a Jan. 2008 charge of disorderly conduct in Lehman, was fined $300 and sentenced to serve three to 12 months in the Pike County Jail. Herbert Morris, 60, of Greentown, for a Nov. 2007 charge of theft by deception in Greene, was fined $400, and sentenced to serve nine months to two years in the Pike County Jail. Manuel Oamil, 40, of Dingmans Ferry, for March, 2008 charges of simple assault in Delaware, was fined $500 and sentenced to one year of probation.
