Dispositions in the Pike County Court
of Judge Joseph Kameen MILFORD n On July 5, defendants who earlier entered guilty pleas and were sentenced included: Walter Anderson, 21, of Greentown, for a Dec. 2006 charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in Palmyra, was fined $500, and sentenced to one year of probation. Pamela Panowicz, 45, of Milford, for a Nov. 2006 charge of driving under the influence in Delaware, was fined $300 and sentenced to serve five days to six months in the Pike County Jail. Robert Mackanics, 26, of Greentown, for Aug. 2006 charges of selling liquor to minors in Greene, was fined $800 and sentenced to 12 months probation. Brandon Ogrodnick, 20, of Matamoras, for an Apr. 2006 charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in Westfall, was fined $500 and sentenced to one year of probation. Michael Knowles, 31, of Henryville, for May 2006 charges including robbery of a motor vehicle and illicit possession of firearms in Greene, was fined $600, ordered to make restitution, and sentenced to serve eight to 16 years in state prison. Jorge Kochovos, 34, of Huguenot, N.Y., for an Aug. 2006 charge of criminal mischief in Westfall, was fined $500, and sentenced to serve two to 12 months in the Pike County Jail. Anthony Walsh, 21, of Paupack, for an Aug. 2006 charge of theft in Palmyra, was fined $600, ordered to make restitution, and sentenced to 18 months probation. Amanda Wiek, 34, of Honesdale, for Dec. 2006 charges of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia in Palmyra, was fined $600 and sentenced to serve 45 days to 13 months in the Pike County Jail. David Price, 48, of Damascus, for a July 2006 charge of driving under the influence in Lackawaxen, was fined $1,500, had his license suspended for 18 months, and sentenced to serve one to five years, less one day, in the Pike County Jail. Michael Fiorillo, 49, of MillRift, for Jan. 2007 charges including illicit possession of firearms, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest in Westfall, was fined $1,000, and sentenced to serve four to eight years in state prison. Following trial and conviction: Regina Mason, 41, of Bushkill, for Oct. 2006 charges including simple assault and reckless endangerment in Lehman, was fined $1,000 and sentenced to serve five to 10 years in state prison.
