    Milford — On May 1, defendants who had entered guilty pleas and were sentenced included: • Justin Inserra, 31, of Tafton, for an Aug. 2007 charge of harrassment in Palmyra, was fined $300. • Ruben Jacobs, 18, of Dingmans Ferry, for a Nov. 2007 charge of retail theft in Westfall, was fined $500 and sentenced to serve eight days to 23.5 months in the Pike County Jail. • Garrette Craven, 22, of Port Jervis, N.Y., for Jan. through Feb. 2007 charges of delivery of controlled substances in Westfall, was fined $1,500, and sentenced to serve six to 23 months in the Pike County Jail. • Brian Friedman, 43, of Bushkill, for a Sept. 2007 charge of aggravated assault in Lehman, was fined $500 and sentenced to serve 42 months to eight years in state prison. • James Hines, 46, of Dingmans Ferry, for Sept 2007 charges including reckless endangerment and terroristic threats in Delaware, was fined $1,000 and sentenced to serve nine months to two years in the Pike County Jail. • Michael Decker, 23, of Lords Valley, for Oct. 2007 charges including fleeing and eluding police and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in Matamoras, was fined $1,100 and was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for four to 11 months, plus six months for violation of probation. • Jason Scala, 37, of Scranton, for a Feb. 2007 charge of possession of controlled substances in Palmyra, was fined $600 and sentenced to serve six months to one year in the Pike County Jail, concurrent to a federal court sentence. • John Rose, 68, of Greeley, for a Sept. 2007 charge of driving under the influence in Blooming Grove, was fined $500, lost his license for one year, and was sentenced to serve 30 days to six months in the Pike County Jail. Tyler Gallini, 20, of Shohola, for July 2007 charges of possession of controlled substances and disorderly conduct in Shohola, fined $600, sentenced to serve six to 12 months in the Pike County Jail, consecutive with charges from Wayne County. Salina Sibblies, 27, of Honesdale, for a Sept. 2007 charge of theft by deception in Greene, was fined $300, and sentenced to serve 15 days to 12 months in the Pike County Jail. • Mark Markwis, 51, of Milford, was found guilty at a bench-trial for charges including driving under the influence and operating a vehicle without inspection, in Dingman and was fined $2,025, lost his license for 18 months and was sentenced to serve 90 days to five years in the Pike County Jail.
