Distasi named Realtor of the Year

Milford — Marcia Distasi has earned the title of “Realtor of the Year” for 2009 at Weichert Realtors - Ruffino Real Estate. This is the fourth time out of five years that Distasi has taken a bow as the company’s top producer. “Marcia is a marvel,” said realtor/owner Donna Ruffino. “She rose above all the obstacles of a difficult time in home sales and the attendant negative buzz, to navigate the market with tremendous success and earn the respect of her peers, as well as the gratitude of all the clients she served.” Ruffino made the presentation at a luncheon held at the Windy Dog in Shohola, where she also called Gene Tick, Angelina Pilz, Peggy Grippe, Anne Marie Bartlett and Debra Passero to the front to be acknowledged as Million Dollar Club Award winners. “I am very proud of this group of outstanding associates, whose individual records over the past year exemplify the drive and talent that are essential in today’s real estate business,” Ruffino said.
