DV shows well on national scene

WESTFALL — Delaware Valley High School’s Sam Belsterling, and Eric Dubee attended the 2008 FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, from June 24-July 1. Sam Belsterling, a 2008 graduate, competed in the Client Services event and placed third in the nation in this event. Belstering had finished first in this event at the State Leadership Conference in April. While in Atlanta, Belsterling successfully advanced from the preliminary round by presenting his conclusion to the client service topic to a panel of judges. Only the top ten students in each event advance to the final round. In the final round, Belsterling created and presented to a panel of four judges with a time frame where the judges were free to question him at anytime. Belsterling was awarded a third place in the nation.
