DVHS's Students of the Month

WESTFALL n Students of the Month for April have been selected at the Delaware Valley High School. The students who are chosen for this honor have shown exceptional academic, vocational and athletic performance during the month. The April Students of the Month in the photograph are: in back from the left, John Marino, Vo-Tech Student of the Month, grade 12, son of Carol and John Marino of Milford; Janet Gillespie, Student of the Month, grade 9, daughter Kris and John Lambertson of Dingman’s Ferry; Evan Fox, Student of the Month, grade 11, son of Yvonne and Peter Fox of Dingman’s Ferry; Patrick Smith, Athlete of the Month (baseball), grade 12, son of Eileen and Steve Smith of Milford. Those in front from the left are: Eavon Matz, Athlete of the Month (softball), grade 9, daughter of Brigid Gray and Angelo Matz of Port Jervis, N.Y.; Alejandro Izquierdo, Athlete of the Month (volleyball), grade 12, son of Marizol Izquierdo of Milford; Patrick James, Achievement Award, grade 11, son of Michelle Dell and Ronald L. Beyers of Pond Eddy; and Elizabeth Mincer, Student of the Month, grade 10, daughter of Claire and Tom Mincer of Milford. Sarah McKean was not present for the photograph. She was selected as the Student of the Month for grade 12. She is the daughter of Lori and Michael McKean of Shohola. Each of the students received a Delaware Valley T-shirt from the principal and their names will be displayed on the school announcement board during the month of May.
