Westfall — On Wednesday Jan. 30, Amy Burke visited Delaware Valley High School’s 9th grade Family and Consumer Science classes to discuss banking. Burke is the branch manager at the Dingman’s Ferry Dime Bank. She spent the morning with Beth DeSantis’ classes and the afternoon with Jill Farr’s classes. The 9th graders have been learning about budgeting, checking and savings accounts, credit cards, loans, and other bank services. The Dime Bank has been sponsoring the ‘How to Do Your Banking” program for DV for the past two years.
