Expo draws those seeking alternatives

Sponsors said several hundred visitors appeared at Hunt’s Landing Best Western to inspect a wide variety of New Age and alternative lifestyle products and services Sunday afternoon at Health & Expo 2009. In addition to more concrete products to peruse, visitors could also experience “aura” photography, have psychics and tarot readings, or explore their astrological charts. The expo was organized by Lisa Ann, a Slate Hill, N.Y. psychic, medium and author, who is frequently featured on local radio and TV (www.spiritquesthealingcenter.com), and medium Tina Vesely, of Milford’s Spiritual Journeys (www.SprtlJourneys.com) at the Upper Mill Complex. Lisa Ann said the expos are a newer way to introduce people to alternative methods and services. The expo drew vendors, psychics and readers from the entire tri-state region and also acted as a fundraiser for Milford’s GAIT Theraputic Riding Center, which shared in the day’s receipts.
