Extension hosts strengthening families' program this fall

MILFORD Penn State Cooperative Extension in Pike County will host a “Strengthening Families Program,” beginning Oct. 19 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Milford. The program is free but pre-registration is required by Oct. 15. This seven-week program, through Dec. 7, is for parents, caregivers and 6th, 7th & 8th grade students living in the same home. The program is designed to: help parents build on their strengths in showing love and setting limits; help youth develop skills in handling peer pressure and building a positive future; and help families grow together.
