In addition to the music, there were lots of kids and lots of appetites at the Milford Music Festival. Local businesses at the festival provided outlets for both. Staff from the Black Walnut Country Inn, from left: Ashtyn Stang, Mike Newman, Black Walnut owner, Steward Schneider and Ludivine Pedett with Cowgirl, Zeus and Breeze, respectively. Both kids and adults fawned over the horses, although park restrictions against pets and animals kept them on the other side of Fifth Street. Inset: Andrew Jorgenson, left and Luis Rojas of Broad Street’s Jorgenson’s Deli kept the sausage and peppers sizzling throughout to satisfy outdoor appetites. (Photos by David Hulse)
