Filone seeking recorder-register slot

MILFORD - Andrea Filone is seeking election as Pike Recorder of Deeds/Register of Will. A longtime resident of the county, Filone was raised in Dingman Township, graduated from Marywood University in Scranton with a BS and worked in Philadelphia and New York City throughout the 90’s, where she pursued various business interests in venture capital, non profit fundraising ,technology and Internet businesses. The Filone Family, proprietors of Mt. Haven Country Resort, have been in business in the county for 40 years. Andrea returned to Pike County in 2003 to assist her family in running the daily operations, marketing and automation of the business. She brings a tremendous insight into bringing organizations to this century through marketing and technology. Andrea was one of the co-founders of the Pike County Visitors Bureau and currently holds the position of Secretary on that board. She is also involved in various philanthropic organizations county wide including the Milford Enhancement Committee and is a member of St. Patrick’s RC Church in Milford She feels strongly that her background in business and wealth of management and leadership skills along with her enthusiasm and energy for the county and its residents will bring a tremendous amount of excitement to the office of Recorder of Deeds/Register of Wills.
