First day for administrators in new roles

The students of Delaware Valley Elementary School were all smiles as they returned to the excitement of a new school year on Monday, Aug. 25. Students wore their first-day best and were met by old friends and staff members as well as new when they stepped off their busses to begin School Year 2008 - 2009. Changes at Delaware Valley Elementary School this year include new school administrators Jim Purcell and Kim Butaitis, following the retirement of longtime Principal Sonya K. Cole. Purcell and Butaitis are pictured with some of first-day kindergarteners.
