Foley firm designated Super Lawyers'

Milford In a recent issue of Philadelphia Magazine, six attorneys from the Scranton-based Foley Law Firm were named as Pennsylvania “Super Lawyers.” No more than five percent of all attorney’s in Pennsylvania, or in any state, earn this prestigious recognition. The objective of the national Super Lawyers selection process is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for other attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel. The process employed for designation as a Super Lawyer is rigorous. Following a national nomination period, a multi-phased vetting procedure scrutinizes the background and experience of each candidate, searching for evidence of peer recognition and professional achievement. Finally, candidates are grouped by primary practice area and segregated by firm size. In the Foley Law Firm with offices in Scranton, Stroudsburg and Milford, attorneys Thomas J. Foley, Jr.; Michael J. Foley; Michael J. McDonald; Thomas J. Foley, III; Kevin P. Foley and Malcolm MacGregor were all named Super Lawyers for 2008.
