Friends in need of homes

PORT JERVIS - Lucky is a handsome male black labrador retriever with a little white on his chest and belly. He is housebroken and neutered. Lucky was at the shelter a while ago and was known as Shabang. He is pretty energetic and could use some training but he is only about 1 year old, so still has that puppy mentality. Lucky knows “sit” and “give paw.” He is OK with cats but a bit too active for young kids. Augie and Tio came to the shelter together and they are both 4 months old and a bit shy. Augie is a short haired grey/brown tabby and white male kitten. He has gold eyes and great markings. Tio is a male grey tabby with white markings. Tio has a cute little brown spot on his mouth and nose. He is on the left in the photo of the two cats. They are using the litter box and will be neutered before leaving the shelter. They are willing to separate for good homes. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please call or visit the Humane Society of Deerpark/Port Jervis at 202 Rt. 209 North, Tuesday through Sunday. The shelter is closed Mondays. Call 845-856-3677 or visit www.pjhs.petfinder.com .
