Port Jervis, N.Y. – Dreyfus deserves a chance at a new life. He was rescued after getting stranded on a partially ice covered lake. Dreyfus is a male collie mix about 7 years old. He is a beautiful reddish color with a long bushy white tail. His long fur will need to be brushed to look its best. Dreyfus is calm and good on the leash. The shelter will neuter Dreyfus before he goes to a new home. We can’t be sure he is housebroken but he keeps his kennel clean at the shelter. Morrey is a grey and white short haired male about 2 years old. He came to the shelter as a stray with a red collar on. Morrey is a friendly fellow and is using the litter box at the shelter. He will be neutered before going to a new home. Visit the Humane Society of Deerpark/Port Jervis at 202 Rt. 209 North Tuesday though Sunday. The shelter is closed Mondays.
