Friends in need of homes

Port Jervis, N.Y. - Hannah and Montana came to the shelter because their owner can no longer care for them. Both are sweet natured girls who deserve great homes. They get along just great and don’t fight over food or anything else. They aren’t too large in size, are calm and walk well on the leash. We believe both dogs are housebroken. They will separate if they have to but would like a home together if possible. Hannah is a lovely shepherd mix about 10 years young. She is a pretty brindle color with longish fur. Hannah is the more outgoing of the two. Montana is a 3 year old brindle colored Plott hound mix. Montana is more shy but she is not aggressive at all. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please call or visit the Humane Society of Deerpark/Port Jervis at 202 U.S. Route 209 North, Tuesday through Sunday. The shelter is closed Mondays. You can call to check what animals are available at 845-856-3677 or visit www.pjhs.petfinder.com.
