Friends in need of homes

Port Jervis, N.Y. - Momma is a long haired brown tabby female about two-years-old. She could be part Maine Coon and is good natured. She loves to cuddle and purr as you can see in the video on her petfinder.com page. Momma has some white under her neck and sandy colored eyes. She would definitely like a home without other cats. Max is a nine-year-old altered male black lab mix. His owner is moving. Max lived with his pal, Black Jack, but they will separate for good homes. Max is calm and good natured but we recommend a home without active small children. Older children would be fine with Max. He knows commands, is well behaved in the house and is housebroken. Max is black with a few spots of white and some black on his tongue. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please call or visit the Humane Society of Deerpark/Port Jervis at 202 Rt. 209 North. Tuesday through Sunday. The shelter is closed every Monday. Call 845-856-3677 or visit www.pjhs.petfinder.com.
