Friends of Airport Park to host a fundraiser

MATaMORAS — A night of dancing, tricky tray gambling, and buffalo wing eating is in store at the Matamoras Fire House late next month. The Friends of Airport Park, a not-for-profit group that raises funds for the park, will host its first “joint community fundraiser,” on May 24 at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $15 each; proceeds will benefit the Matamoras Volunteer Fire Department, the Veterans Memorial Park and Education Center, and the Friends of Airport Park for Recreation.
