Gateway questions come to township
DINGMAN Ongoing concern about the proposed Gateway project came back to the township supervisors last week.“I was here two weeks ago asking about the Gateway Project, “said Pat Staab at the Dingman Township Supervisors meeting. Staab, the Crescent Lake Association president, said Supervisor Dennis Brink two weeks ago explained that developer Dominic “Dino” Bradlee would put in a land based sewage treatment facility with no discharge into Dwarfskill Creek. Recalling Bradlee’s comments recently at a meeting of the Save the Dwarfskill Creek Coalition, Staab said Bradlee plans to build one sewage treatment facility, and then as the development grows he may have to put in a second and even a third treatment facility, all tied together and discharged into Dwarfskill Creek. Staab went on to say, “I am concerned because it seems Bradlee thinks he can do whatever he wants to.” Supervisors Chairman Tom Mincer told Staab, “There are no plans sitting in front of us or the planning commission. We are not approving anything at this time. He will have to go through a lot of stages before it comes to us.”
