Milford — Everyone is invited to the Grand Opening of the official Pike for McCain ‘08 campaign headquarters this Saturday, Sept. 27, beginning at 9 a.m. The campaign headquarters is located on US Route 6/209, right next door to Milford Chrysler. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with the Pike for McCain campaign staff and learn about the various volunteer opportunities available between now and Election Day. Light refreshments will be served. Pike for McCain is a group of area citizens who are committed to electing Senator John S. McCain and Governor Sarah L. Palin, the next President and Vice President of the United States. Due to the dynamics of the 2008 presidential election, Pennsylvania is a crucial swing state. Because every votes counts in what is sure to be a very close election, Pike for McCain volunteers could make all the difference. From Sept. 26 through Nov. 4, the Pike for McCain campaign headquarters will be open and staffed daily. Office hours will be determined based on the availability of campaign volunteers. Volunteers are needed for phone banks, door-to-door canvassing, public events, and other campaign activities. In the words of Sen. McCain himself, we invite you to “serve a cause greater than your self interest,” beginning this Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Grand Opening of the Pike for McCain ‘08 campaign headquarters. For more information about this event, or to contact Pike for McCain staff, you may email pikeforcain@gmail.com or call Brian Siegel at 845-750-9765.
