Grants get uninsured kids dental care

Honesdale The Together for Health Dental Center at Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers recently received two grants totaling $28,000 from The Blue Ribbon Foundation of Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Funding will be used to expand the clinic’s Pediatric Dental Education and Dental Care Programs. Dental health professionals from the clinic work closely with Wayne and Pike County schools and local community organizations to provide preventive dental services to 1,500 uninsured and underinsured youngsters throughout the two counties each year.
