MILFORD n The new Adult Book Discussion Group begins at the Dingman Branch in June 21. The book to be discussed is The Butcher’s Daughter by Nadine Gordimer. Call the Dingman Branch to reserve a spot and a book. Books are provided by the library. The library has a data base that supplies information for people researching their family history through the site www.ancestry,com. Ancestry,com has a special free offer from the Memorial Day weekend through June 6. You can search military records back to the 1600’s for information. Prisoner of war records, letter’s from soldiers, and other military records are available. There is usually a fee for this service, but it’s free during this period of time. The library offers thanks to everyone who supported the Book and Bake Sale. It was a great success. Supporters are asked to watch for information on the fall sale. There will be a special Father’s Day story hour and craft on June 11 at all branches. Call your local branch for more details.
