Health service receives elite status

MILFORD — “The staff are wonderful and caring and perform their jobs admirably,” according to a recent letter to In Home Health Services. The writer, a Mrs. Zweiter, was extending her gratitude to the professional nurses and physical therapists who cared for her husband, Morris, during his recent illness. Morris is a diabetic, who recently developed a complication of the diabetes, resulting in a wound on his leg. Because of this setback, he was no longer able to ambulate on his own. In Home Health Services provided frequent nursing visits to help manage his diabetes and care for his wound. A physical therapist also visited Morris to help him gain his independence. “Before the nurses came here, he had to use a walker,” said Zweiter’s daughter, Robin. “They have really brought him around.” Morris’ return to independence is just one example of a positive outcomes that patients of In Home Health Services experience.
