Westfall — The students in Mrs. Knash’s class were recently the fortunate recipients of bicycle safety helmets. After two students inquired with the school’s police officer, Officer Mark Moglia, he was able to contact the local police department and have the helmets donated to the students in the class. The bicycle helmet giveaway was part of a campaign held by the Eastern Pike Regional Police Department working with the family of John Lamb, a young man who lost his life two years ago in a bicycle accident. The students were very excited to receive their helmets in this campaign to promote safety for all bicyclists in the county.
