Help make the holidays brighter for Pike's homeless animals

    MILFORD - The Pike County Public Library is joining the Pike County Humane Society in a holiday campaign to replenish much needed supplies for the nutrition and care of the homeless animals at the humane society shelter. The library is asking the community to participate in this drive by dropping off donations of pet food and other needed supplies during business hours at any branch of Pike County Public Library between Nov. 27 and Dec. 18. Among the needed supplies are: • Canned and dry cat and dog food • Kitty Litter • Cat and Dog Treats • Cat and Dog Toys • Collars and Leashes • Clean towels, blankets and/or sheets • Cleaning supplies, including sponges, bleach, laundry detergent, anti-bacterial dishwashing liquid and paper towels Please help to make the holidays a little brighter for these helpless animals as they wait to be adopted into loving homes.
