Holiday business card exchange coming up

MATAMORAS — The Pike County Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with the Tri-State Chamber of Commerce to present the Holiday Business Card Exchange. It will take place at The Riverview Inn in Matamoras, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13. Both the Tri-State Chamber and the Pike Chamber throw several successful business card exchanges throughout the year. However, history has been that the Holiday Exchange is always the best attended. Business card exchanges are a great way for area business people to meet and learn more about each other’s services. All business people are encouraged to attend, Chamber member or not. The sponsors for this year’s Holiday Business Card Exchange are Milford Plumbing & Heating and Roy W. Hart Insurance Agency, Inc. The event will include music, refreshments, a cash bar, door prizes and networking opportunities throughout the evening. The cover charge is $5 per person. Also, in the spirit of the season, the Chambers are asking people to bring a donation of a dry or canned food item for the Pike County Food Pantry.
