Hope blooms in March

MILFORD - Daffodil Days is an annual fundraising event supports the American Cancer Society’s goal to eliminate cancer as a major health problem. The society is a volunteer organization providing hope for cancer patients, and others, through support groups, information and guidance, transportation to treatments, and funding for progress toward a cure. Now, you may celebrate spring, and help save lives, by pre-ordering your Daffodils with a donation of $7.00 per bunch of 10 freshly cut daffodils or $15.00 per bunch of 10 with a vase. Please pre-order by calling the American Cancer Society at 1-570-296-7676 ext. 3320 or 1-888-227-5445. Also, for the second year, a special Boyd’s Bear has been designed exclusively for Daffodil Days. The special Bear, along with 10 daffodils, may be purchased for a donation of $25.00. There are a very limited number of Boyd’s Bears, so please pre-order to reserve before the direct sell days. The daffodil/vase/Boyd’s Bear pre-order days have begun and last until March 10. . Pre-orders will be delivered on March 21st and March 22nd. If you miss the pre-order dates, purchase direct from March 23 to 26 at local businesses including; Luhr’s Hardware, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Price Chopper, and Grand Union.
