It's an ‘Autumn Ambush'

Westfall - There’s going to be wrestling in Pike, and for once it won’t be politics. ‘Christian’ Cage, plus World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Superstars Jerry “The King” Lawler and Hacksaw Jim Duggan along with 2004 Delaware Valley High School graduate and Shohola’s own “Dynamic Sensation”, Gus Harlacher will be headlining Northeast Wrestling and 5 Star Promotions fundraising wrestling spectacular “Autumn Ambush”. The show is coming to Delaware Valley High School on Saturday Oct. 14 with a bell time of 7:30 p.m. This big fundraising event is suitable for the entire family with proceeds benefiting the Westfall Township Volunteer Fire Department. Christian Cage is a former WWE star and one of the most popular wrestlers in the sport today. He can be seen wrestling nationwide on Spike TV every Thursday night. He will be joined by WWE Superstar Jerry “The King” Lawler. The former world champion and host of WWE’s Monday Night Raw seen live nationwide every Monday night on the USA network, looks forward to coming to Milford. “The event gives me the opportunity to see all of the wrestling fans and support a great cause” said Lawler. Lawler is also famous for his confrontations with the late comedian Andy Kaufman. Hacksaw Jim Duggan will also be in attendance. This legend known for carrying the American flag to the ring is a big favorite of fans. Delaware Valley High School graduate Gus Harlacher makes his return home were it all started. This is Gus’s first time wrestling near his hometown and has the pleasure to wrestle in the very gymnasium where he participated as a student and former DVHS wrestler. Trained by the legendary Afa the Wild Samoan, he has competed up and down the east coast and made an appearance for the WWE on a national Smackdown telecast. He now has the opportunity to compete in a northeast wrestling ring along with some of his idols and with his family and friends in attendance. Autumn Ambush is sponsored by the Appl’ Grill, will include eight big matches and promises to be an entertaining night. There will be a special fan “Meet and Greet” before the show beginning at 5:30 p.m. This is an opportunity for the fans to get autographs and pictures with Christian, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and all of the superstars.
