Kicking butts at school

Westfall Students in The Teens Against Tobacco Use club (T.A.T.U.) at Delaware Valley High School participated in Kick Butt’s Day last month. Kick Butt’s Day is an annual national day of activism that empowers youth to speak up and take action against tobacco use at more than 2,000 events from coast to coast. This year the high school students decided to create a graffiti poster board on which students could write their thoughts about tobacco use and perhaps to mention a loved one who had passed away from a smoking-related illness. The students will be sending the posters to a CEO of a large tobacco company to let them know how they feel about theses deadly products. This month, T.A.T.U. students have been visiting the elementary students of DDES with more tobacco presentations.
