Kids' Conservation Day

    PROMISED LAND - The Pike County Conservation District Board and Staff will be holding a “Kids’ Conservation Day” at Promised Land State Park from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 22. There will be games and activities for the kids’ along with some interesting characters. The District has invited Sam Burleigh -The Turtle Man- to bring along some of his turtles, snakes and other interesting reptiles for everyone to enjoy. Jen Naugle from Promised Land State Park will host a fun activity called “The Long Haul.” If you ever wanted to find out who the Conservation District is or what services we provide - this is a great opportunity while your kids’ and grandkids’ have some fun.
