MILFORD The Kiwanis Club of Delaware Valley provided a scholarship to Arleen Slater for a seven week session at G.A.I.T. Arleen had been attending the therapeutic horseback riding lessons throughout the summer and made great progress. However, her family was finding it difficult to continue to pay for the lessons. The staff at G.A.I.T. took it upon themselves to reach out to the community for donations for Arleen and other children in a similar situation and the Kiwanis Club of Delaware Valley was happy to help. In addition, Kiwanis member Al Peselnick brought his hot dog cart to G.A.I.T’s Horse-A-Fair and served hundreds of New York style hot dogs with all the toppings to recent fair participants. It was a great day of fun for all!
