MATAMORAS — The Pike County Public Library (PCLP) is making it easier for residents in the Matamoras and Westfall areas to return borrowed items to the library. Thanks to a generous grant from Pike County Light and Power as well as a gift from the Friends of Pike County Public Library, a library book drop has been installed in front of the Matamoras Borough Hall, located at 10 Avenue I in Matamoras. Items that are left in the drop box will be returned by a library courier. Library Director Ellen Schaffner said “the library is pleased to be able to extend additional library services to the residents of Matamoras and Westfall. We hope our patrons in those areas will take advantage of this convenience.” Schaffner also thanked the Matamoras Borough Council for donating space in front of Borough Hall.
