Library to host baby shower

MILFORD — Pike County Public Library invites all expectant mothers to attend their Library Baby Showers. These special events will include everything you might expect at a baby shower, but with an emphasis on the importance of reading to your young child. Hosts, Eileen Carmody and Carol Kolenet, have planned a variety of experiences for the motherto-be. New parents will listen to picture books, recite nursery rhymes, learn fingerplays, and discover how to choose good children’s literature to share with their babies. Naturally, there will be shower games, prizes, and a gift for each mom-to-be. Registration is required for attendance. R.S.V.P. at the PCPL branch where you would like to attend.
