Lincoln flag going on exhibition in Allentown

Accompanied by an honor guard of Civil War re-enactors, the Pike County Historical Society’s Lincoln Flag took the salute of members of the Milford VFW, American Legion and Vietnam Veterans Wednesday as museum staff members carried the sealed banner from The Columns to a truck, which took it to the National Lincoln Exhibit at the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum in Allentown. It will be displayed for there one week, beginning Saturday. This was only the third time the flag has left Milford since The Columns opened. (Photo by David Hulse)
