Annual ‘Back to School’ event to help prepare families for upcoming school year set for July 21

Milford. Pike County Children and Youth Services will give away 100 backpacks and various school supplies at its annual “Back to School”at Ann Street Park.

Pike County Children and Youth Services (CYS) is once again able to help students and families prepare for the upcoming school year with its annual “Back to School” event.

On Friday, July 21, from 1 to 4 p.m., at Ann Street Park in Milford, PA, the CYS office will give away 100 backpacks and various school supplies including pens, pencils, notebooks, and folders. The event is free to the public. All Pike County students are encouraged to attend.

“Pike County Children and Youth Services is proud to support our children in the community by providing school backpacks and school supplies for children in need,” CYS Administrator Michele Burrell said.

Many of the organizations who help support the CYS office will be at the “Back to School” event to provide information on services within the community.
