Bridge work moves to the Pike side

Work on the Pond Eddy Bridge has now progressed to the Pike County, Pa., side of the Delaware River. Construction crews have moved the heavy rocks that formed a platform on New York side to Pennsylvania side. Water is flowing freely for the first time in over a year near Route 97, while the flow is now blocked next to Rosa's Switch Road and Flagstone Road. The new bridge is due to open in 2018.
