District 10 Jazz Band Festival

On Feb. 20 to 21, five band members represented Delaware Valley High School at the annual PMEA District 10 Jazz Band festival.
Pictured from left: Thomas Spillane, Jason Feakins Lance Tyler Williams, (front) Greg Giliberti, and William Mullen, accompanied by band director Lance Rauh, all traveled to the campus of Kutztown High School in Kutztown.
These students were among 22 other students from area schools to participate in the auditioned jazz band. Under the direction of William Stowman from Messiah College, the band students had the opportunity to perform a program full of professional level jazz band literature.
The festival consisted of two days of intensive rehearsals and concluded with a concert Saturday afternoon.
