Elder Justice Day event set
Milford. The 11th annual program will provide information on topics important to older adults.

The 11th Annual Elder Justice Day will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Blooming Grove Senior Center, 150 Pike County Blvd., in Lords Valley. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Elder Justice Day, held annually by the Pike County Area Agency on Aging, gathers professionals from across the state to provide stimulating and empowering presentations on aging related topics pertinent to older adults. In addition to presentations by guest speakers, many local home health agencies and community organizations will be available to offer information and answer questions on the services they provide. The Drug Take Back program will also be present attendees to safely dispose of unwanted, unused or expired medications.
“Elder Justice Day is held to educate the community on elder abuse, an issue that affects 1 in 10 older adults,” said Tracy Simon, Protective Service Supervisor. “By attending this event, seniors will gain valuable knowledge and resources to identify, prevent, and respond to situations.”
