Electronic recycling event open to all Pike County residents

Dingman. The electronic recycling event will be free to Dingman Township residents, but will be open to all Pike County residents. Proof of residency is required for township residents seeking to recycle electronic devices.

There will be an electronic recycling event on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Dingman Township Park, 679 Log Tavern Road.

The cost will be $20 per carload or $40 for a pickup truck load. Commercial entities, which must be pre-registered, will cost $100.

There will be no fee for Dingman Township Residents; costs are being covered by Dingman Township. Proof of Residency is required.

The recycler has the right to reject any material deemed unfit for recycling or that is leaking or otherwise would expose people to hazardous chemicals or sharp objects.

· NO: Smoke Detectors, Light bulbs or car batteries
