Environmental stewardship celebrated
Pike County. Conservation District seeks nominees
The Pike County Conservation District invites community members nominate individuals, educators, and students for the 2025 Conservation Achievement Awards.
The awards honor significant contributions to preserving and enhancing Pike County’s natural resources.
The catagories are: Conservation Achievement Award, Open to individuals, groups, or organizations demonstrating exceptional leadership in conservation efforts. Educator Conservation Achievement Award, Recognizes teachers or educators who have effectively integrated conservation education into their curricula. Youth Conservation Achievement Award, Acknowledges students in grades K–12 who have actively participated in conservation initiatives.
Nomination Criteria: Eligible nominees should exhibit a long-term commitment to natural resource conservation in Pike County, positive environmental impacts through conservation projects and innovative contributions to public understanding of conservation issues.
